The Registrar’s Office at SVC provides a variety of student services including, but not limited to, assistance with registering for classes, ordering official transcripts, obtaining degree or enrollment verification, and reviewing a student’s degree audit. Permanent academic records for all students are maintained in the Registrar’s Office as well as course and final exam schedules.

The Registrar’s Office at Southern Vermont College is open Monday through Friday (except when observing holiday breaks), from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Ordering Transcripts

To order an official or unofficial transcript, please fill out and submit a Transcript Request Form. Make sure to sign and date your request form. For an official transcript, include a method of payment (there is a $150 fee for each official transcript ordered). Please allow a minimum of five days for normal processing. Additional time may be required if the request is made during peak times (the beginning or end of a semester). Transcripts will not be sent for a student who has not satisfied financial obligations to the College.

Office of Institutional and Enrollment Research

The Office of Institutional and Enrollment Research collects and analyzes information about the College. This data ranges from Admissions statistics to graduation rates, and is used to help tell the unique story of Southern Vermont College in a data-driven manner.

Note: SVC transcripts are mailed or picked up in person. SVC transcripts are not faxed or e-mailed.

Online registration and Add/Drop can be done online using the SVC Student Portal.

SVC’s Division of Nursing has two degree program tracks: the Pre-licensure BSN for students who will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam upon graduation and the RN-BSN program designed for registered nurses who wish to continue their education.
